I am doing some research on the topic of Solar power ( demand and supply) in the holiday township of Marloth Park. Marloth Park sits along the southern boundary with the Kruger National Park. It is about a 4-hour drive from Pretoria so it's very popular for weekend and holiday visitors planning to visit the Kruger National Park. Especially for larger families, Marloth Park offers great value for money accommodation when visiting the Kruger National Park.

I own the website, www.marlothparkproperty.co.za , a website that focuses on all property-related issues in Marloth Park. I used to be a very regular visitor to Marloth Park when I still resided in Pretoria. This website is registered with Google Search Console, a free tool from Google.

From using this tool I found that there is a definite demand for Solar Panel installation in Marloth Park. It has also been obvious from belonging to different Marloth Park Facebook groups that people are experiencing more than normal electricity outages than what is happening in the rest of the country.

In the village of Betty's Bay where I stay, we are also experiencing growth similar to Marloth Park with similar issues with electricity. It seems the respective municipalities have failed to plan in conjunction with Eskom for growth. The work-from-home culture which exploded with Covid has meant that more and more people are leaving cities back to rural areas where rent/property is cheaper and crime is lower. So while I am doing research for Marloth Park I will double up and do similar research for Betty's Bay.

Back to the results of my little research using Google Search Console:

solar installations marloth park - 16 impressions

solar marloth park - 15 impressions

solar companies in marloth park - 14 impressions

I would not have noticed these impressions if I did not have anything solar-related on the website of Marloth Park Property. (You can not be found for a specific topic if your website does not cover that topic.) I think I started writing an advertisement or mini-websites for a past web design client of mine which is why the website got impressions for that specific topic. I have now deleted that short story/advertisement because it was not finished. I am going to find a new client to sell this virtual real estate to, which is why I am doing this market research.

I have also turned to the main respective Facebook groups for the specific areas for my market research, stirring up some conversation to see who wants to market their services in these areas. ( I will then market my marketing services to them).

In both these Facebook groups I have to wait for the admins of the respective pages to allow my post. Because I am doing market research and not doing any hard selling the posts should be approved.
